Human CCL7 (C-C motif ligand 7; also known as MCP-3, MARC) is a 76-amino-acid CC chemokine secreted by monocytes, fibroblasts, and epithelial cells. CCL7 binds CCR1, CCR2, and CCR3 to attract monocytes, eosinophils, basophils, and dendritic cells, contributing to allergic inflammation and tissue remodeling. It also binds ACKR1 and ACKR2 for scavenging. CCL7 is implicated in asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, and tumor progression. These interactions highlight CCL7's broad role in monocyte-driven immune responses.
