Human CCL26 (C-C motif ligand 26; also known as Eotaxin-3, IMAC) is a 71-amino-acid CC chemokine expressed by endothelial cells and fibroblasts under IL-4/IL-13 stimulation. CCL26 is a potent agonist of CCR3, recruiting eosinophils and basophils. It also binds ACKR2. CCL26 is implicated in chronic allergic inflammation. These interactions highlight CCL26's role in late-phase eosinophilic responses.
