Human CCL25 (C-C motif ligand 25; also known as TECK) is a 127-amino-acid CC chemokine expressed in thymus and small intestinal epithelium. CCL25 binds CCR9 to attract IgA+ plasmablasts, γδ T cells, and memory T cells to the gut. It also binds ACKR4. CCL25 is essential for gut immune homeostasis and oral tolerance. These interactions highlight CCL25's role in mucosal immunity.
