Recombinant human CCL27 is expressed in E. coli, refolded and purified to yield the mature form of protein that is secreted from cells after cleavage of the signal peptide. Human CCL27, also designated cutaneous T-cell-attracting chemokine (CTACK), attracts skin-associated memory T-lymphocytes through activation of the G protein-coupled receptor CCR10.
