Human CCL11, also known as Eotaxin and Eosinophil chemotactic protein, is a potent mediator of eosinophil attraction through activation of the G protein-coupled receptor CRR3. CCL11 is produced by IFN-g-stimulated endothelial cells and TNF-activated monocytes.
