Description: Recombinant human CXCL3 is expressed in E. coli, refolded and purified to yield the mature form of protein that is secreted from cells after cleavage of the signal peptide. Human CXCL3 is a 73 amino acid ELR+ chemokine that belongs to the GRO isoform subset which activate the G protein-coupled receptors CXCR1/CXCR2. LPS-stimulated macrophages strongly express CXCL3 in addition to the constitutive expression by macrophages. Expression of CXCL3 induces monocyte arrest and is a potent neutrophil chemoattractant.
